Our instructors will guide students through a first time experience on a pottery wheel. Techniques will include centering clay and forming a basic bowl. Getting on a wheel is tons of fun, but we do like to make sure students do not have high expectations for their first wheel-thrown piece. Plan for up to 3 hours for this workshop.
Due to this being a one-time experience, Ply staff will take care of the trimming, glazing, and firings later, giving everyone a half dozen glazes to choose from. This process normally takes two weeks for drying, firing, glazing, and then a second final firing.
