This class is for beginner-through-intermediate skill level, but students are required to have used a pottery wheel beforehand. Our Wheel Experience Class is a great first introduction to the art of working on a wheel. Practice the fundamentals with professional potter and instructor, Elisha Frazier of Elmtree Pottery. This 5-part class will cover building on the basics of wedging, working with clay on a wheel, trimming, and glazing. Students will have the opportunity to leave the class with finished pieces. **Please note: This is a 5-part class over the course of 6 weeks, with no class on week 5 while pieces are dried and bisque fired before glazing on week 6.**

Class Schedule:
Sept 9, 16, 23, & Sept 30 - Practice working on the wheel with focus on improving students throwing and trimming foundational skills. Students are able to work at their own pace and skill level while being encouraged to practice developing their craft.
Oct 7: Skip a week while classwork is dried and bisque fired.
Oct 14: Glazing day.
